PinTime displays the current time in the Dynamic Island using a fixed 24-hour format. Find setup and troubleshooting guidance here.

Requirements

Device An iPhone with Dynamic Island
System iOS 26.0 or later

Getting Started

    Open PinTime

    The app automatically tries to start a Live Activity when it becomes active.

    Allow Live Activities

    If prompted by iOS, allow PinTime to use Live Activities.

  3. 3
    Check the Dynamic Island

    After the Live Activity starts, the current time appears in HH:mm:ss format.

Troubleshooting

The time does not appear in the Dynamic Island

Confirm that your iPhone has a Dynamic Island and that Live Activities are allowed for PinTime. Then reopen the app and tap “Start”.

The app says “Live Activity unavailable”

This means iOS is not currently allowing the Live Activity. Check PinTime’s Live Activities permission and try again.

How do I end the time display?

Open PinTime and tap “End” to dismiss the current Live Activity immediately.

Does PinTime upload the time or usage data?

No. The current time and Live Activity state are processed only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
